Not long ago I had the opportunity to do some sign writing for a village bakery near to where I live. The bakery has recently been refurbished with a new design for the shop and some signs had already been written on their walls. I was asked to write on the blackboards that would hang above the freezer and refrigeration cabinets explaining what was on sale. It was a very quick project and if I had a little longer perhaps I would've perfected things a little more, but feeding my love of typography I thoroughly enjoyed mapping out how all of the letters and words would fit in.
Here are the finished boards. Overall I was really happy with how they turned out considering I have never done anything like this before, thankfully so were the owners!
